Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is the basis for many of the engineering disciplines, including the automotive, aero, marine and medical sectors. In our ever-changing world, mechanical engineers develop new and differing uses for technologies and materials that improve the mechanical operation of equipment and devices used in anything from food to oil production or from international construction projects to the design of toys.

PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Entry via Year 1
- 3 GCE A Levels subjects which must include Mathematics and a Physical Science or related subject such as Electronics, Design and Technology, ICT, or similar; OR
- Equivalent qualification to the above which demonstrate preparedness for study.
Entry via Year 2
- PSB Academy Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology; OR
- Equivalent Diploma in Engineering (in relevant disciplines) from a local polytechnic, PSB Academy or other Private Education Institution.
Entry via Year 3
- Candidates may apply with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a local polytechnic. Applicants will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Non-standard entry applications involving non-standard qualifications, mature candidates, or for direct entry to later stages of the programme from candidates with experience are welcome and will be considered on their merit in conjunction with the Coventry University Link Tutor.
