Bachelor of Business
The Bachelor of Business courses allows students to choose two specialisations from management, marketing and accounting which should increase their employability potential. The Bachelor of Business program provides you with essential knowledge, skills and application in these areas opening up opportunities for personal development as well as broadening your career options.
Students have the opportunity of membership pathways to the Marketing Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Management, ensuring that they receive recognition of their skills and knowledge within their chosen profession. Students should consult the relevant membership body about membership pathways.
To successfully complete the Bachelor of Business in business management/ marketing/ accounting students will demonstrate the ability to:

- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Academic Entry Requirements
- Completion of a current or previously approved VCE, HSC or equivalent; orCompletion of the IB Diploma, including English; or
- Completion of an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard to an approved Australian Year 12 qualification; or
- Completion of one year of an AQF-accredited award at the level of Certificate IV or above; or
- Completion of one year of study at Level 7 of the AQF or equivalent at an Australian or overseas higher education provider. This includes applicants who have completed or partially completed a degree or HE Diploma.
English Entry Requirements
- Completion of an Australian Year 12 or AQF Level 5 qualification or higher that was studied in Australia in English within the past two years; or
- IELTS score of a minimum of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent; or
- Recognised English Language Course: English for Academic Purposes from Ozford English Language Centre or another CRICOS listed English language qualification studied in Australia with outcomes equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5; or
- Completion of an Australian Certificate IV English as an Additional Language (EAL) qualification or another Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)-listed English language qualification studied in Australia with outcomes equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above; or
- Completion of the 10-week English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at Ozford English Language Centre or other English language centres endorsed by the National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) quality assurance, which will meet the IELTS equivalent of 6.0 or above.
