BA in HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
The BA (Hons) Health and Social Care will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the health and social care policies, theory and practice and you will gain the skills needed to be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
In line with today’s fast-changing care sector, the emphasis during this course will be on the social experiences of health and care and the delivery and management of services. You will learn how the provision and delivery of these services is influenced by society and the economy as well as by political and ethical factors. The course will focus on providing you with detailed understanding of the key contemporary issues that shape our health and our society and therefore the well-being of individuals and their communities. You will also develop the critical and analytical skills that underpin evidence-based practice.

- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
International Year Zero
Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.
International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance
A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards
OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1.
The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree
65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board)
85% from Punjab State Board (or equivalent in Diploma in Engineering/Technology subject)

Entry into Year 2 will be considered on a case by case basis. Our team need to check if what you have already studied matches up with our own course content.
