Police training is changing across England and Wales as a result of a comprehensive workforce transformation programme set out by the College of Policing and the National Police Chiefs’ Council. This transformation is achieved in part through the introduction of the Policing Education Qualifications Framework, which equips new police recruits with the right skills to adapt to the professional complexity of modern day policing including the changing nature of crime and demands on police services.

Bangor University in partnership with Gr?p Llandrillo Menai is offering an undergraduate degree in Professional Policing, licensed by the College of Policing. This will introduce students to the skills required to work as a police officer and builds on the highly successful Police Foundation Degree offered by Gr?p Llandrillo Menai. This course is taught at different locations - please see course content for details.

PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

International Year Zero

Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.

International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.

International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance

A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards

OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1.

The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.

Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree

65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board)

85% from Punjab State Board (or equivalent in Diploma in Engineering/Technology subject)
