BSc in PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY AND OCEANOGRAPHY
The land borders the ocean via the coastal zone. Understanding how these environments are related to each other is important for many societal and economic reasons, and requires an integrated approach to the subject, as most of the world’s population lives near, or exploits, the coastal zone. The Physical Geography and Oceanography course ensures research-led teaching of both terrestrial (e.g. rivers, glaciers) and marine (e.g. waves, tides, density currents, sea level) processes. These processes control the movement of water, sediment and biogeochemical components (such as carbon) from the land into the sea. This course also integrates these process to examine the impacts of environmental change, climate, sea level and pollution on the health and sustainability of terrestrial and marine environments.

- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
International Year Zero
Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.
International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance
A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards
OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1.
The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.

65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board)
85% from Punjab State Board (or equivalent in Diploma in Engineering/Technology subject)
