BA in MARKETING AND ITALIAN
This course provides a fantastic opportunity to combine Marketing with the in-depth study of a language. The external marketing environment encompasses consumer behaviour and consumer psychology, marketing communication, public relations and market research. This Marketing course programme also provides coverage across the broader range of business and management subjects, developing knowledge and understanding of organisations, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate. You will benefit from excellent teaching and student support whilst developing key skills and knowledge that you will need for your year abroad, and later on, for the world of work.
The Italian part of the course will provide you with advanced skills in the Italian language and a broad range of specialised and detailed insights into the culture, society and history that go with it.
Through studying Marketing you will develop your skills and knowledge of the key strategic and operational aspects of marketing, and gain an awareness of the external marketing environment. Strategic and operational aspects of marketing include the formulation of marketing strategies, managing the marketing function and its positioning relative to other key business functions, advertising and branding, customer relations management, applications of information technology, and e-marketing.
