BSc in SPORT, HEALTH AND EXERCISE SCIENCE

The UK, and the World beyond, are facing unprecedented health related problems (Obesity, Type II Diabetes, and Mental Health to name but a few) many of which can be successfully combatted via accurate understanding and application of Sport and Exercise.  This degree programme will not only equip you with the ‘basic Sport Science’ skills required to work with elite athletes, but also develop skills required to both understand the benefits of exercise and how to apply exercise as a ‘medicine’ for people with current and potential health related problems.   

Drawing on 40 years of experience, we pride ourselves on offering many ‘hands on’ experiences in the laboratory. These practical experiences are designed to develop essential skills associated with both applying Sport Science and Exercise Science, together with understanding their associated Health benefits. The research-led curriculum, will give you the knowledge and practical skills required for a career in the expanding sport, health, and exercise related markets.
