The BA (Hons) in International Tourism & Hospitality Management (Top-Up) provides opportunity for students with prior related qualifications to engage in a one year programme leading to an Honours level award. On entering the programme students will be expected to have advanced prior knowledge of International Tourism and Hospitality Management equivalent to having completed the second year at a UK University.

This course will extend your knowledge of the principles and practice of management within the tourism and hospitality sectors. Management is also about people, and we will enable you to develop your own skills as a team player, a group member and ultimately as a manager of other people. Globalisation has resulted in an increasing need for managers who adopt an international perspective on business, particularly within the tourism and hospitality sectors.

PSW Opportunity

  • The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
  • Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
  • They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • Polytechnic Diploma in any Tourism and/or Hospitality Management related disciplines; OR
  • 2x GCE A Level/ formal Year-12 education/ IB Diploma and NIM Advanced Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum English Language proficiency requirements are required to sit and pass the NIM English Proficiency Test.
  • Applicants should be at least 19 years of age at the time of application.
