Sport Business Management BA (Hons)

A focus on digital analytics in big business will provide key skills that support today's global businesses.

You will learn about the increasing professionalization of sport, investigate the requirements of governance, and explore how the changing needs of the consumer have transformed it into one of the most lucrative industries in the world. Millions of pounds are spent each year on broadcasting rights, licensing, and merchandising and this course has been designed so you can seize these new and exciting opportunities.

This course offers the opportunity to take a sandwich year; a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. Our Headingley Campus is situated just outside of the city centre in the picturesque suburbs and is easily accessible by public transport with regular direct buses into the city. Headingley is an extremely popular student area. It has its own vibrant community with bars, shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. Our beautiful campus is full of green spaces, wildlife and historical buildings.
