PSW Opportunity

During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

For this programme, you will need the following:

1. Be 16 years old by the time the programme starts

2. A minimum of 4 years of secondary education

3. Completed NCEA Level 1

4. If English is not your first language, you will need one or more of the following:

Have achieved NCEA Level 3 and New Zealand University entrance
Be able to provide evidence you satisfy our criteria for existing English proficiency
Have achieved at least one English proficiency outcome in the last two years

Don't meet these requirements? We also accept:

New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2); or
New Zealand Certificate in Computing (Foundation User) (Level 2); or
New Zealand Certificate in Computing (Intermediate User) (Level 3); or
New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3); or
Provide equivalent Certificate in Computing; or
Provide sufficient evidence to be eligible for special or discretionary admission.

Recommended: hold appropriate assessment standards in Digital Technologies Level 2.
