Master of International Hotel Management

The Master of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association) - MIHM (SHA) is a two year (four semester) full-time course designed to provide participants with the opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and cognitive skills to understand and manage international hotel operations at a senior level. 
Whilst the course focus is on international hotels, participants could choose to undertake their career paths in other areas of the international tourism and hospitality industry. 
The Master of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association) - MIHM (SHA) is a full-time course delivered face-to-face; domestic students are able to take the course part-time.
Professional Practice & Research Project   - Student earns income (if undertaken in Australia).

PSW Opportunity

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

  • Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
  • Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
  • Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
  • The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

  • Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
  • Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
  • Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
  • PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Academic and/or Industry Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (AQF level 7 or international equivalent) in any discipline; or the ICHM Graduate Certificate in International Hotel Management (AQF Level 8); or the ICHM Graduate Diploma in International Hotel Management (AQF Level 8).

English Requirements
International students may be required to prove English proficiency to enter the Master of International Hotel Management.

TOEFL - (IBT) 79 (writing and speaking not below 20)

PTE 58 - (no score below 50)
