MSc Financial Analytics

The MSc Financial Analytics is the programme for you if you have an interest in financial markets or financial technology (FinTech) and enjoy working with data. It shows you how data science, analytics, statistics and programming tools are used in the real world for the analysis and modelling of financial and economic data.

The programme will equip students with cutting-edge quantitative and computational techniques utilised by industry leading firms. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • Normally a Bachelor degree awarded by a recognised Indian institution with a final average of 53%-55% or above (comparable to UK 2.2 Honours degree) or equivalent acceptable qualification in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant quantitative subject. Science and Engineering disciplines will be considered where there is a significant mathematical component. .

English Language Requirements

  • Evidence of an IELTS score of 6.0, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification. Taken within the last 2 years.
  • English in the Indian Standard XII may be accepted (CBSE/CICSE/Karnataka/Maharashtra/Tamil Nadu/West Bengal boards) with a score of 70% taken within 7 years of the expected course start date.

An official Digilocker verification document will be required. Please provide your Admit Card ID number to the University.

If you have completed a degree that was taught and assessed in English within the two years prior to your first enrolment at Queen’s University Belfast – GIFT City Campus, the University may be able to accept this as evidence of your English language proficiency.
