BS in Chemistry
In the Chemistry major, you’ll study the structure and transformations of physical matter – everything we can see and touch. Chemists synthesize compounds from life-enhancing medicines to the materials of modern society. They collect and analyze data used in policy decisions, including those involving air, food, soil, and water. They develop materials and processes that are safer and more energy and material efficient. They develop processes for the recovery and conversion of waste to raw materials. You’ll learn to do all these things while majoring in Chemistry at CSU, all while working alongside expert faculty members using state-of-the-art facilities and technology.

Job Opportunity Potential
CSU’s Career Center is excited to partner with Parker Dewey to offer micro-internships to RAMS!
A micro-internship is a short-term project that can be completed within 5-40 hours, typically due within a week to a month. These projects require no on-boarding and can be completed by a college student with minimal instruction. These are important but low-risk tasks that can be completed either on-site or remotely.
Micro-internships are available year-round. It’s up to you to take advantage.
CREATE A PROFILE – Signing up takes less than 10 minutes – name, school, hobbies, and a few other things and you’re good to go.
SEE MICRO-INTERNSHIPS – Check out details on available assignments, including when they’re due and how much you’ll be paid.
APPLY – You decide which opportunities seem the most interesting – it’s a great way to explore different roles and industries.
COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT – Once you’re selected, work directly with the company. Do your best to exceed their expectations as it could lead to a full-time role.
