B.S. to M.S. in Energy Management, Mechanical Engineering
New York Tech’s unique construction engineering program integrates the traditional fields of civil engineering and construction management. In meeting rigorous ABET engineering accreditation requirements, this degree serves as a long-term foundation for a construction career in a time of rapidly changing technology.
Gain strong fundamental knowledge in engineering design and management principles by learning engineering mechanics, engineering graphics, survey and geomatics, construction materials, building construction, concrete and steel structure design, construction management, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, and project management.
After graduation, you’ll know how to apply design theory and practices to produce solutions that support public health, safety, and welfare. Stand out to employers as someone who’s ready to solve complex engineering problems through principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. You’ll be able to make informed decisions that consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
