BS/DPT in Health and Exercise Science + Physical Therapy
Simmons University’s Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion program is designed to help students develop an advanced understanding of nutrition, fitness, and wellness. The program provides training in nutrition science and health promotion strategies to prepare students to be leaders in the dynamic field of nutrition.
Simmons undergraduate students studying Nutrition, Biology, Health and Exercise Science, or Public Health can complete the accelerated BS/MS program in five years, receiving a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in nutrition. You'll save on tuition when you complete program prerequisites in your first three years and take two graduate courses in your senior year.

To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Simmons University uses a holistic review process, meaning it considers a range of factors beyond grades, including a personal statement, letters of recommendation, a resume/CV, and extracurricular involvement, for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) are considered, and a strong high school GPA of 3.5 or higher is typically expected for admission.
