Veterinary medicine represents the welfare of animals, humans, and the natural environment, and represents the principle of "One Welfare and One Health." Future careers for veterinary students may include the following:

Veterinary field: diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and prevention of animal diseases.
Animal production and health: hygiene, safety and food technology.
Management of zoos, wildlife and hunting, natural spaces and animal facilities.
Research and development and management in the public sector or in the chemical-pharmaceutical and agri-food industries.
Experimental research in teaching and health education.
the public sector (ministries of agriculture and health, municipal councils, central administration or the military, where there is a dedicated veterinary organization: the State Veterinary Corps, the Veterinary Corps or the Senior Military Veterinary Corps) or the private sector.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Those interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Wukang University must have taken health sciences in high school, and knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, physics, and biology is strongly recommended.

In addition to meeting the above requirements, students must demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency in English and Spanish as defined by the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (B1 level), with B2 being preferred. For native speakers of a language, no level certificate is required. This means that if a student's native language is English, they must demonstrate a B1 level of proficiency in Spanish, and vice versa.For candidates who have taken the PAU/EBAU, we will consider the final result of that exam. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, we will use their scores as a reference.

If you hold an International Baccalaureate, a European Baccalaureate and/or an equivalent high school diploma from an educational system in a country with international agreements with EU countries, both within and outside the EU, we will refer to these documents and conduct a personal interview to verify that your Spanish and English language skills are equivalent to the B1 level, but we recommend a B2 level.
