Business Management BSc (Hons)

What will the business of the future be like? And what skills will you need to study to be successful in it? On the BSc Business Management degree, you will develop the range of leadership and management skills you need for business now and learn how to recognise opportunities and be adaptable for the future. You will also build your personal portfolio of professional evidence which will enhance your CV and help you in job applications and interviews. This course is taught at our University of Salford campus close to Manchester city centre.

We have worked with industry partners to make sure the programme is highly practical, career-focused and industry-informed to prepare you for a successful management career. We are proud to work with our student panel to ensure our teaching is relevant, inclusive and respectful for all.

As a business management student, you will develop a good knowledge of international management theory and learn how to apply it to business scenarios. With modules such as Business Ethics & Sustainability and Digital & Business Skills, the focus is very much on developing you as a rounded business professional. You’ll not only graduate with an advanced knowledge of management theory, but with the experience, professional skills and industry insights to start an exciting career across multiple sectors.

Entrepreneurship and innovation are integral parts of our teaching; these are essential if your dream is to set up your own business, but future employers also value an entrepreneurial mindset. Launch@ Salford is the Business School incubation centre that supports business start ups.

PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

This degree offers excellent scope for any student wanting to start a career in management, finance, marketing and a variety of other different business areas. Knowledge and expertise in business are highly sought after by employers across a wide variety of sectors.

If you know you love business but aren’t sure which direction to go in, the Business Management course is an ideal introduction to some core areas of business.

Applicants who have achieved at least 70% in their polytechnic diploma will be considered for undergraduate study.
If you do not meet the entry requirements, you could take the International Foundation Year to gain entry onto this degree.

FOR BANGLADESH
