Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

• Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
• Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
• Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
• The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

• Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
• Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
• Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
• PhD students can stay upto 4 years

You must have completed the requirements for a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or other approved institution, in a subject area related to the proposed course of advanced study and research, with:

a bachelor's degree with first or upper second class Honours, or a qualification deemed to be equivalent; or
a result of at least a Credit grade in the highest relevant unit of study.
These criteria constitute the minimum requirements for eligibility and do not guarantee admission. That remains at the discretion of the Associate Dean (HDR) for a given Faculty.

TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

IELTS score - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

TOEFL - PBT score -  A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English -  A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
