Education (Mathematics) PGCE
The PGCE in Mathematics is broadly aligned with the Northern Ireland Curriculum, training graduates to teach Mathematics across the 11-18+ year age range. The program aims to develop your competence and confidence in the teaching of Mathematics and in the general professional role of the teacher.
Our PGCE will appeal to you if you wish to move into teaching and if you are a graduate in Mathematics (or cognate discipline) or about to graduate in Mathematics (or a cognate discipline).
Extra places are reserved to prepare those who are interested in teaching their subject through the medium of Irish in Irish-medium schools. An additional certificate in Irish Medium Education (IME) is awarded in conjunction with St Mary's University College.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Graduate
This course is designed to meet the postgraduate education needs of pharmacists working in patient-facing roles, although applications are welcome from pharmacists working in any employment sector.
The program is open to local, national, and international applicants.
Applicants must have a pharmacy degree (minimum Bachelor's degree) from a university recognised by Queen’s University Belfast and be registered as a pharmacist with an appropriate regulatory organization.
The University requires evidence that international applicants are competent in the use of the English language.
English Language Requirements
Evidence of an IELTS score of 6.0, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required (taken within the last 2 years).
