Aerospace Structures and Materials MSc
On this MSc course, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation in aerospace structures and materials science. We’ll build on your existing expertise by providing you with an in-depth understanding of engineering approaches to current aerospace problems. We also aim to equip you with specialist skills in computational modelling, aerospace structural analysis, material selection and implementation.
You’ll be supported to gain the skills necessary to work in the aerospace engineering industry, whether as a researcher or as an engineer for an aerospace company. You will collaborate with researchers working on alternative fuel sources, future-proofing your career by keeping you at the forefront of innovation in this sector.
You’ll be integrated into one of our research teams and work on an aerospace engineering-related project, supervised by one of our research experts. You’ll have access to our excellent facilities to complete your project. We also try to ensure that you take part in projects with our industrial partners, where available.

It contains the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Queens' Building, the main college library, the student union, Draper's bar and club, several restaurants, a number of halls of residences and a gym. The educational and research sites of the Arts Research Centre, Computer Science, the large Engineering building, G.E. Fogg Building, Francis Bancroft Building, G. O. Jones Building, Joseph Priestley Building, Lock-keeper's Graduate Centre, and the Mathematical Science Building, are all located within the Mile End campus

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 3 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: 75% to 80%
- UK 2:1 degree: 60% to 70%
- UK 2:2 degree: 50% to 60%
Offer conditions will vary depending on the institution you are applying from. For some institutions/degrees we will ask for different grades to above, so this is only a guide.
For India, offers may be made on the GPA scale. We do not consider the Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) for Masters entry.
FOR BANGLADESH
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 4 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: GPA 3.2 to 3.7 out of 4.0
- UK 2:1 degree: GPA 3.0 to 3.3 out of 4.0
- UK 2:2 degree: GPA 2.3 to 2.7 out of 4.0

FOR NEPAL
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 4 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: 80%; or GPA 3.7 out of 4.0
- UK 2:1 degree: 65%; or GPA 3.0 out of 4.0
- UK 2:2 degree: 55%; or GPA of 2.4 out of 4.0
Bachelor in Nursing Science are not considered equivalent to UK Bachelor degrees.
FOR SRI LANKA
