Linguistics with French BA Honours (Q1R1)

At each Stage, you spend two thirds of your time studying linguistics, concentrating on the structure, history and social aspects of English and language in general.

This degree combines the study of linguistics with French, to explore how language works and what it does.

You spend the remaining third of your time studying French language and culture.

An exciting element of this degree is a year abroad in Stage 3, working or studying in a French-speaking country, developing your language confidence and experiencing another culture.
