UOW College Australia

Transforming lives through education
Our Academic Pathways Programs, English Language, and Vocational Education and Training courses are underpinned by a comprehensive student support framework designed to help our students succeed in their studies.

In collaboration with the University of Wollongong, we provide an exceptional education and a supportive and inclusive community where every student can thrive.

Our history
Starting from the humble beginning of the Wollongong English Language Centre in 1988, the College has shaped the lives of over 38,000 students from 70 countries by providing educational opportunities. This journey, marked by our inspiring stories, demonstrates our dedication to fostering success among our students, locally and globally.

Our courses are taught from three campus locations - Wollongong, Liverpool (Sydney) and Sydney CBD. Students located in regional areas of NSW completing a UOW College course online, are invited to use the facilities and support services at their local UOW campus.

We also have partnerships with international education institutions in China and India, to provide students with opportunities to access quality education delivered outside of Australia.

UOW College is owned by UOW Global Enterprises (UOWGE), a subsidiary group of the University of Wollongong. UOWGE also owns and operates the University of Wollongong in Dubai, UOW College Australia, UOW College Hong Kong and UOW Malaysia.

Our relationship extends beyond ownership, as we collaboratively provide quality education and essential campus services. This synergy ensures that our students not only receive quality education but also have a seamless experience if they choose to transition to further studies at the University of Wollongong.

UOW College Australia is part of the UOW Global Enterprises Group which, although owned by the University of Wollongong, operates under an independent corporate governance structure with an independent board.

Planning and operations are guided by the UOW College Strategic Plan 2024-2027. The goals and objectives support the delivery of the vision and mission of the College and are aligned with the University of Wollongong (UOW).
